    One of the best huts we saw. Given the unseasonal snow we encountered ..it was very welcome..!! Great fireplace & a great refuge from the cold.

    Bluff Hut is one of those special places of refuge and in winter is a life saver. After trekking to the Bluff it is a very welcome sight. To know that you can shelter from brutal sub zero winds, make a fire and survive is a testament to the Stoney family that built the original hut that sadly burnt down in 2007 but was then replaced in 2008 with the same qualities and intent. It is beautiful rustic and simply special. And i recommend anyone to make the effort to get there. Its tough demanding trekking but Bluff hut makes it all worth the effort.
